When I was 15, I decided I was old enough to get a job. I had previously had small jobs such as babysitting or cleaning for neighbors. However, I decided I wanted a small part time job somewhere in my town. I ended up getting a job at a movie theater, and ever since that day, I have been an extremely hard worker. My parents instilled good work ethic in me at a young age. I’ve only called out when I’ve been severely sick or had a death in the family, and I am always on time, if not early. I go above and beyond, which is important to me. This idea of being a hard worker isn’t just something that applies to my work life, but other areas of my life as well; such as being a student or a good friend. I always try my best and go above and beyond what is required of me, because in all honesty, I like to work! I like to accomplish tasks in my professional and personal life. Being a hard worker has and will continue to get me far and my life, and that is something I take pride in.
